About

My life is a movie. This is the career part.

I'm Bria Nadia. I worked my way into project management in New York construction, one jobsite and one hard conversation at a time.

For a long time, I took everything personally. Pushback felt like disrespect. A "no" felt like a verdict on me. My first reactions weren't always my best ones.

What changed my career was realizing that most of it wasn't about me. Once I stopped taking things personally, I stopped spending my energy defending myself and started spending it on the work. That's when my career started to move.

Paid & Promoted is where I share those moments: what happened, how I took it, and how I'd handle it today. Along with the scripts and steps I wish someone had handed me sooner.
